Installing Yeastar Softphone on a Windows PC

Step 1: Download Yeastar Softphone for Windows

  1. Go to the official Yeastar website: https://www.yeastar.com/.

  2. Navigate to the Downloads section (you can usually find it under Support).

  3. Select the Yeastar Softphone for Windows version and click Download.

  4. Save the installer file to your computer.

Step 2: Install Yeastar Softphone on Windows

  1. Once the download is complete, open the installer file (Yeastar_Softphone_Setup.exe).

  2. Follow the on-screen prompts:

    • Click Next to proceed through the installation steps.

    • Accept the license agreement.

    • Choose the installation directory (the default is usually fine).

    • Click Install.

  3. When the installation is complete, click Finish to exit the installer.

Step 3: Configure Yeastar Softphone

  1. Launch Yeastar Softphone from your Start menu or desktop shortcut.

  2. You’ll be prompted to enter your Yeastar PBX Server IP/Host, Username, and Password. This information should be provided by your network administrator or the person managing your Yeastar system.

  3. Once entered, click Login to connect.

  4. After successfully logging in, Yeastar Softphone will be ready to use. You can now make and receive calls directly from the app.

Step 4: Test the Setup

  1. To make a test call, enter a phone number or extension in the dial pad.

  2. Click the Call button to initiate the call.

  3. Check if you can hear the audio and if the call goes through successfully.
